We hope you heard on KSL news last night about our upcoming auction – it’s your shot at the best space for the best price in town!
Our sales offices are open 7 days a week from 11am to 6pm and we have agents, staff and mortgage specialists there to help get you registered and answer any questions. Our preferred lender, Security National Mortgage is offering up to $2,000 in closing cost credit to those who finance through their special programs set up for BPL.
We have also a had questions about our Homeowners Association dues and whether the new construction will impact them: No. The HOA’s are a percentage of fees set by the square footage of each unit and any unoccupied unit’s dues are paid by the developer until they are sold. This means that you are always only responsible for your portion and those range from $75 to $140 depending on the size of your unit. Drop by our sales office and we’ll give you the monthly HOA dues sheet per unit.

We’ve teamed up with the leading real estate auction company in the world, Kennedy Wilson, who has 23 offices in the U.S, Japan, Europe.

We’ll be auctioning off 2 of our luxury condos at Maple Heights in the avenues, and 35 of our contemporary units here at Broadway Park Lofts in downtown Salt Lake City, to get things rolling to finish building out phase two of Broadway Park Lofts. The auction will be held at Cucina Nassi Banquets and Special Events Center on November 5.

In the meantime, signs went up on the building today, our auction website SLCcondoauction.com went live yesterday, and advertisements also went live today – in the next month you’ll see ads for our auction in the Wall Street Journal, Seattle Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Los Angeles Times, The Oregonian, Salt Lake Tribune, Salt Lake Magazine, Salt Lake City Weekly, Q Salt Lake, radio and TV spots, and many, many more.

The staff is getting settled in to our on-site sales offices here at Broadway Park Lofts, which will be open 7 days a week , 11am-6pm until November 4.

2011 Annual Salt Lake City Greek Festival

It’s that time of year again! Utah’s largest ethnic festival is just around the corner!

For a nominal admission fee, crowds from all over the state flock to Utah’s annual Greek Festival, organized by the Greek Orthodox Church of Greater Salt Lake. The event brings tens of thousands of festival-goers, and is located every year at the historic Greek Orthdox Church’s Holy Trinity Cathedral right in our very own bustling neighborhood.

Enjoy delicious food, traditional Greek dance performances, and rides for the kids. See you there!

Harvest Market is Now Open Tuesday Evenings in Pioneer Park

Fresh, local produce can now be purchased two days a week in downtown SLC. The second season for the Tuesday evening Downtown Harvest Market has begun and continues through Oct. 12, 4 p.m. to dusk in historic Pioneer Park. The Harvest Market is a farm-based marketplace during the most bountiful time of the year.The market allows commuters who may not visit the capital city on Saturday for the Downtown Farmers Market, downtown residents and regular market shoppers to purchase produce mid-week, supporting community and locally grown and produced food.

The Saturday Farmers Market has grown to capacity and the Tuesday Market establishes an opportunity for new farmers to sell their produce. The smaller size of the Harvest Market allows for easy access, convenient shopping—and there is ample parking near the park.

There are over 25 vendors at the Harvest Market including Smith Orchards, Star G Natural Beef, Weeks Berries, Bangerter Farms, George’s Herbs and Zoe’s Natural Garden. New vendor Gold Creek Farms Cheese from Woodland is selling six different varieties—my favorite was the Parmesan (delicious paired with pumpkin alfalfa blossom honey from Knight Family or Mountainland Apples). Another new vendor, City Cakes, specializes in traditional and vegan baked goods (and luscious lemon bars).

The market is one stop shopping for summer barbeques –sweet Utah corn has arrived and is a must for any grilled meal. During the harvest season the Farmers Market will be abundant with berries, cucumbers, eggplant, peaches, heirloom tomatoes, melons, peppers, sweet corn, squash, pumpkin, cabbage, onions, green beans, potatoes and much more.

Healthy living and contributing to your local economy is good for the environment and the body. Be a locavore and shop the downtown Farmers Market Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings.
